The use of New Zealand hops gives this beer a wonderful fruity aroma and flavour with some tropical and citrus notes.
Our K.P.A. is very much a Kiwi style Pale Ale which is copper in colour and has the addition of lots of aromatic hops to give a sensational fruity aroma. The flavour is lighter and balanced with some malty notes from the Crystal and Caramalts.
Fermentation takes place at 18°C over 5-6 days and is very strictly controlled with daily checks on temperature, gravity, taste and pH levels to ensure the finest results.
Our K.P.A is matured for a minimum of two weeks to settle and clear, and is then filtered through a diatomaceous earth filter to ensure clarity and brightness.
With the use of 3 NZ aromatic hops, the hops give our K.P.A a wonderfully fruity, floral aroma with tropical and citrus notes being fairly pronounced.
Our K.P.A. is made with only natural ingredients: malts, hops, water and yeast. It contains no additives.
K.P.A is available in kegs for cafes and bars.
Brewed as an English Best Bitter style, the combination of five malts gives Sprig & Fern's British Best the ideal balance of malt sweetness. The addition of Crystal and Caramalt provides well rounded toffee and biscuit characteristics.
