A medium sweet cider with a traditional apple tasting palate. Crisp and refreshing.
We ferment apple juice with a champagne yeast and monitor its fermentation daily with several quality checks including gravity and taste. Unlike most beer fermentations, ciders can ferment for longer and our Apple Cider can take up to three weeks to ferment.
Once fermented, we transfer to maturation for a prolonged maturation period. Our Cider is then filtered to remove any yeast from suspension and to ensure that its clarity is clear. It is then moderately carbonated.
Our Apple Cider is refreshingly clean and crisp with a medium sweet palate.
Our Apple Cider is made with only natural ingredients: locally grown apples, water and yeast. It contains no artificial colours or flavouring.
Apple Cider is available in kegs for cafes and bars.
Brewed as an English Best Bitter style, the combination of five malts gives Sprig & Fern's British Best the ideal balance of malt sweetness. The addition of Crystal and Caramalt provides well rounded toffee and biscuit characteristics.
