Sprig and Fern Taverns – real craft beer, friendly bars in and around Nelson

Firstly, all our bars serve only Sprig and Fern beers, ales and ciders so you know that the beer will taste good and be fresh. Most of our wines are locally sourced too.

Secondly, none of our bars have distracting pokie machines, loud TVs or noisy pool tables. The Sprig and Fern Taverns have a real “social pub” atmosphere where friends can chat, relax and have a laugh after being served by attentive, courteous bar staff.

Summer beer is here!

Hefeweizen is made from at least 50% malted wheat and is traditionally unfiltered which give it a distinctive cloudy appearance. This refreshing beer is faithfully brewed using 100% German malts and a Hallertau hop addition. It is medium bodied with a slight tart aftertaste.
